Youth Parliament Raising awareness of Youth about Sava River
In scope of the Sava Day celebration and the 20th anniversary of the International Framework Agreement on the Sava Basin, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning of Slovenia, in cooperation with the Environment Agency of the Republic of Slovenia (ARSO), prepared an event entitled Strengthening the Climate Resilience of the Sava River Basin, which was held on Wednesday, 5th of June 2024 in the premises of the ARSO in Ljubljana, SI.
Mr. Jože Novak, the Minister, awarded the institutions and individuals who played an important role in the realization of the goals of the FASRB in the last 20 years, among them also the Secretariat of the ISRBC, the Sava Youth Parliament and dr. Mitja Bricelj, one of the founders of the Sava Commission. The award for the Sava Youth Parliament was received by the Blaž Lipovšek, the actual president of the Sava Youth Parliament.
